Singer Rihanna has revealed how she loves a bit of friendly rivalry among her fellow female artists, as it helps her to strive to improve herself and make better music. Rihanna claims that no woman in the music industry likes seeing another doing better than they are and the friendly rivalry has helped to improve the quality of their music.
Rihanna explained, “It will always be a competition and that’s why I feel like women are becoming so dominant in music right now because we’re very competitive beings and we cannot stand to see another woman do better than us. As much as [men] have egos, our egos are a little bigger, we’re just a lot better at hiding them.”
Rihanna is set to split her time between making music and making movies and has recently admitted that she would love to appear in a romantic comedy, so that she can show off her acting diversity. Rihanna can be seen on the big screen, starring alongside Taylor Kitsch, Liam Neeson, Brooklyn Decker and Alexander Skarsgard, in the movie Battleship, which is released on April 11 in the UK and May 18 in the US.
