Rihanna is constantly hitting the headlines for her new edgy persona and raunchy antics. Let's hope that they're working for her as they're not working for cosmetics giant Nivea, who have announced they will be dropping the star.
The new head of Nivea’s parent company Beiersdorf has come out and said that the R&B star will no longer be the face of the company, with Stefan Heidenreich saying that the stars recent behaviour was to blame for the parting of ways.
He went on to tell British newspaper the Daily Mail that "The advert starring Rihanna was a no-go. I do not understand how Nivea can be brought into association with Rihanna."
Surprisingly, her recent antics don’t seem to fit in line with his theory that Nivea "stands for trust, family and reliability" despite it only being a year since they snapped up the Barbadian singer to front up their campaigns.
Rihanna didn't seem to bothered by the news though, simply tweeting a picture of Heidenreich with the accompanying tag: 'No caption necessary'.

Perhaps it was Rihanna's non-stop partying that contributed to the dropping, with the star enjoying many nights out posting contraversial pictures.
