Rihanna held her first annual Diamond Ball at The Vineyard in Beverly Hills on Thursday December 11, 2014 and the Barbadian beauty was the show-stopping fashion winner. She walked the red carpet in an elegant Zac Posen rose gown with a diamond and ruby red choker from Chopard, dark red lipstick, subtle cat eye liner and a sleek ponytail with a gray hue.

The strapless gown displayed her attractive cleavage and her tattooed wrist was enclosed by a purple bracelet. For those who wonder if Rihanna always needs to 'shock' to bring attention to her beauty they likely received their answer with her Diamond Ball appearance held in honour of the Clara Lionel Foundation.
The event was a 'who's who' of the celebrity world and included inviduals such as Kim Kardashian-West, Salma Hayek and Brad Pitt, the latter of whom had some fun at the expense of the Barbadian beauty with some 'tongue in cheek' remarks while he was introducing her to the gala attendees.

However, despite all of the celebrity guests in attendance there was no question as to who was the star of the night and she showed why she is one of the most fashionable and popular musical entertainers in the world.
Later on in the evening she changed into a navy Zac Posen gown, traded her diamond and ruby choker for a gold necklace, put on some bright red lipstick and provided a musical performance that will not soon be forgotten when she conducted an orchestral version of "Pour It Up."
Zac Posen prior to this evening was known as one of the premier providers of fashion gowns in the business but after Rihanna's appearance in his gowns it would not be a surprise if the sales for his gowns reaches unprecedented levels because she looked so fantastic wearing the gowns at her charity event.
Rihanna as is her tendency and so might argue the norm which is why she is considered one of the marquee celebrities of the world left fans almost speechless with her scintillating appearance at the Diamond Ball gala. She likely has some movie producers wondering when she will follow in the footsteps of Jay-Z's wife, Beyonce, and make the move to movies as a leading lady because she is one of the few entertainers who is so popular that her presence in a movie will likely guarantee success at the box office.
