Ringo Starr is an English musician, songwriter, singer and actor. His real name is Richard Starkey. Starr's big claim to worldwide fame, he sang some lead vocals and was the drummer for the rock band The Beatles. The Beatles were formed in 1960. Starr was already a member of another British rock group Rory Storm And The Hurricanes. Ringo left The Hurricanes in 1962 after moderate success in Hamburg and the UK to join The Beatles.

Ringo Starr and His All Starr band have been touring around the world in 2013. They started the year in New Zealand and then went on to Australia. As I write this, they are doing two shows over the Halloween weekend in Brazil. The tour wraps up November 23 in Las Vegas, Nevada at The Palms.
