There are a lot of singers who have made the move into acting over the years and there will no doubt be many more to come and, one of those singers who will make her big screen debut in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie next year, is the talented and successful British star Rita Ora. The 23-year-old singer plays the role of Mia Grey in the film and it seems that she has been having a great time.
Rita Ora has now spoken about her experience on the set of the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, admitting that she was very nervous before taking on her first acting role. Fortunately though, Rita settled in very quickly and it was not long before she felt more than comfortable around her more experienced co-stars.
Ora explained, "I've just shot the movie, 'Fifty Shades of Grey'. That took up a lot of my time as I didn't wanna embarrass anybody, so I made sure I knew exactly what I was doing. It was an incredible experience. I went from not knowing what it's like being on a movie set, to feeling like I knew them all for years, and I wasn't even there for that long."
Rita joined the cast midway through the shoot but she is still excited about the project, "They'd already been filming for months and months, so I came in mid-way through the film. I can honestly say it's so cool to be in it. I'm so excited, I was really nervous. I kind of came in last minute, I auditioned last minute," added Ora.
The Fifty Shades of Grey movie stars Jamie Dornan as Christian Grey and Dakota Johnson as Anastasia Steele, with the movie set to hit the big screen on February 13, 2015 in both the US and the UK.
