We have seen some many stars in the entertainment industry over the years deciding to mix their careers up and trying their hand at something a little bit different. We have seen actors deciding to have a go at modelling, models deciding to become singers, and singers trying their hand at acting, with everything else you can think of in between.
One such singer, who has decided to try her hand at acting, is the British star Rita Ora, who landed herself the role of Mia Grey in the upcoming movie Fifty Shades of Grey. While Rita does have a small amount of acting experience, she has admitted that the nerves got the better of her and she had to have an earpiece in to feed her the lines.
Ora was chatting to Access Hollywood, when she revealed, "I had to have someone in my ear on set telling me what to say before I said it because I was honestly like so nervous I forgot everything that I had learnt. She's [Dakota is] a great friend of mine and she really eased me, and she was really nice to take care of me."
Rita Ora was delighted to land the role of Mia Grey in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, as she is a self-confessed fan of the books, reading all three of the EL James novels. Rita says that everybody involved in the film can be very proud of what they have achieved, as the movie will visually represent the books as best as possible.
She added, "The movie is as visually close as it can be [to the book]. I think the actors are phenomenal in this and I'm just kind of honoured to be on the same wavelength as them. This being my first movie, it's pretty awesome."
Fifty Shades of Grey will open February 13, 2015 in the US and the UK.
