It seems that 68 year old Hollywood legend Robert De Niro is not content to give up on acting until he has added a further, three more Oscars to the two that he already has. Robert has revealed that he wants to have one Oscar for each of his kids.
De Niro explained, “If I had one to give to each of my kids, that would be fine. But I don't, and I can't give one to one and not to the other.” Robert won his two Academy Awards for Best Actor for his performance in the 1980 flick Raging Bull and Best Actor in a Supporting Role for the 1974 classic The Godfather: Part II.
As well as his two wins, Robert De Niro has also been nominated for an Oscar a further four times. However his ambition to win another three and take his tally to five seems highly unlikely as the record wins for Oscars is four by Katharine Hepburn and Clint Eastwood.
