It seems that Robert Downey Jr. is one of those actors who likes to stay in character for as long as possible while shooting a movie, much to the dismay of his partner Susan. Robert is set to appear on the big screen as Iron Man aka Tony Stark, in The Avengers and while filming the movie, would often act like his character at home.
Susan admitted that, while she does find the character of Tony Stark quite sexy on the big screen, she is not of fan of Robert being him at home. She explained to Entertainment Tonight, "It's my least favourite character he takes on... He is a little cockier, but it's very sexy... Well Tony's really sexy..."
Robert then added, “When I'm playing Sherlock, she'll tell me, 'I'd ask you a question but I know you already have the answer to any and all questions because you're Sherlock'. With Tony I just strut around a little more.”
The Avengers stars Chris Evans as Steve Rogers/Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark/Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton/Hawkeye, Scarlett Johansson as Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow, Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner/Hulk, Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury and Tom Hiddleston as Loki.
The Avengers is released in the UK on April 26 and the US on May 4.
