There's been talk for months about the possibility of Robert Pattinson taking the role of the incredibly handsome billionare, Christian Grey, in the movie version of 'Fifty Shades of Grey'.

However, despite the huge media frenzy surrounding the highly anticipated casting decisions, the film is apparently not anywhere on Rob's radar. This is probably a little more understandable when you consider what Rob has had to deal with lately - splitting from the love of his life and Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart after discovering she had cheated on him.
A source close to the actor told Hollywoodlife: “There isn’t even a script and it is still very much in development with Universal so he doesn’t even have it on his radar. His agents wouldn’t and haven’t even presented him with anything because nothing in the film has been remotely close to being completed."
The insider reportedly added: "No script, no director, etc. It's a complete out of sight, out of mind situation. He is happy with his current career path and is not in any way bothered by talk of him being in that film. He just doesn’t care.”

Well fans of the book certainly seem to care! Guesses as to who will be cast as CEO Christian Grey have been all over the internet, with many saying Ian Somerhalder or Matt Bomer would be great for the role.
