Robert Pattinson, following girlfriend Kristen Stewart, was also on the Today Show this morning to promote ‘Breaking Dawn: Part 2’. During his interview [which can be viewed here] with Savannah Guthrie and the rest of the ‘Today’ show hosts, he jokes about Twilight being ‘the end of my youth’ and just a ‘slow death from now’.

Rob and Kristen in Twilight
He also talks about his nickname being RPattz [which he’s had since the first Twilight movie came out in 2008] and says, “I don’t understand what the nickname culture is. If I could figure out a way to get rid of that, it’d be amazing. It does sound like an antacid tablet.”
He’s also asked about his relationship with Kristen Stewart, but doesn’t deflect the question as obviously as Stewart did yesterday, and instead replies, “I want to ask, because we get asked that all the time. It’s like, ‘Who is actually asking?’ Is it in your contract?” Guthrie does confirm that it’s in her contract, and then Rob replies, “It doesn’t have to be [personal]. It only becomes personal if you answer it.”

Has a skill of deflecting questions now
It’s interesting that he tries to pass it off to the interviewers, but he should know by now that it’s an interviewer’s job to ask questions that fans want to hear the answer to. Despite this, Rob plays off the question better than Kristen and you can tell that it’s also much less offending to him than it was to her, just by looking at the videos in comparison.
