Following the huge success of the Twilight movies, all eyes turned to the main stars of the films to see where their careers would take them and if they could ever live up to the huge hype that the Twilight franchise brought them. Well, it is fair to say that English actor Robert Pattinson has more than proved himself since then end of the Twilight films, taking on some very interesting roles.
Robert Pattinson can next be seen starring in the upcoming movie The Rover, which saw the actor having to shoot a lot of scenes in the outback. While a lot of high-profile movie stars would have found the difficult shoot something to complain about, Robert has admitted that he actually found it rather enjoyable.
Pattinson spoke to Total Film Magazine about the shoot, saying, "I kind of liked it! If you were trying to play someone who wasn't filthy and disgusting all the time, then it would have been annoying - having someone constantly get rid of your sweat or something. But when you wallow around in it, it's kind of nice!"
Robert Pattinson stars alongside Guy Pearce in The Rover and he went on to admit that they both almost went a bit crazy, "We both got sunburned and looked like shit. There wasn't anything to eat out there, so I'd been eating slices of bread with BBQ sauce on for six weeks. You turn into a fucking lunatic," he added.
While The Rover stars Robert Pattinson and Guy Pearce, the movie is directed by David Michod, based on a story and screenplay that he developed with Joel Edgerton. The Rover will open on limited release in the US on June 13, before then opening nationwide on June 20, with the movie hitting the big screen in the UK on August 15.
