It was rumoured recently that Robert Pattinson was expected to appear in the latest Sofia Coppola movie, after the two of them were seen together at The Musson & Frank Grill in Hollywood earlier this month. However, Stephen Dorff has revealed that Robert Pattinson is not actually going to appear in the movie after all.
Dorff explained, “I’ve actually got a bit of gossip for you, I don’t think he’s in it. But she did meet with him. She’s my good friend. It was a smaller role of like a club door guy.” Stephen Dorff and Robert Pattinson do have something in common, as they have both played vampires and it seems that Sofia Coppola almost directed one of the Twilight movies.
He added, “I like playing a vampire. I think Sofia almost directed one of the Twilight movies. I love working with her, she’s a great director, she has an original voice. There’s not much originality in the world today so when you get a chance to work with someone like her … I’d love to work with her again.” Robert Pattinson can next be seen on the big screen in Bel Ami, which is set to be released in the US on March 2 and the UK on March 9.
