We have seen many stars meet on the set of a movie, before falling for one another and beginning a romance in real life. That is exactly what happened with Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, who met on the set of the Twilight movie and soon began dating.
Unfortunately though, as is often the case with relationships in Hollywood, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson split, following the revelation that Kristen had been having an affair with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders. It has now been two years since the Kristen Stewart and Rupert Sanders kissing pictures emerged and Robert has spoken about the incident.
Pattinson told Esquire UK, "S--t happens, you know? It's just young people...it's normal! And honestly, who gives a s--t? The hardest part was talking about it afterwards. Because when you talk about other people, it affects them in ways you can't predict. It's like that scene in Doubt, where he's talking about how to take back gossip? They throw all those feathers from a pillow into the sky and you've got to go and collect all the feathers."
Despite the fact that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart have not been dating for quite some time now, there is still a lot of interest in the couple, which Robert finds quite odd. He added, "I don't understand why. I think it goes through periods where you're assigned 'this is the guy to follow'. But whenever I see a bunch of paparazzi hanging out, I always think, 'Oh God, what have they found out!' Oh, that love child! I totally forgot!"
As for his acting career, Robert Pattinson can currently be seen on the big screen in the movie The Rover, which co-stars Guy Pearce and opened in the US in June. Meanwhile, British fans of Robert Pattinson will get to see The Rover when it opens in the UK on August 15.
