Following the Twilight movies there were a lot of people questioning the careers and the acting ability of the three main young stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner, with many people suggesting that they would struggle to get out of the Twilight shadow. However, British actor Robert Pattinson has been proving himself as a talented Hollywood star.
Since the last Twilight movie was released, Robert Pattinson has signed on to appear in a number of movies in the coming years, including the lead role in the planned project Mission: Blacklist. Production on Mission: Blacklist was looking to begin in the Fall but things might have to change slightly after Robert decided to pull out of the film, leaving them to search for a new leading man.
Mission: Blacklist is based on true events and centre around the mission to find and capture Saddam Hussein. Robert Pattinson was set to play "military interrogator Eric Maddox, who spearheaded Hussein’s capture," but now a new actor will be given the chance of taking on the interesting role in the promising movie.
Mission: Blacklist has been written by Erik Jendresen, Dylan Kussman and Trace Sheehan, while Ross M. Dinerstein, Erik Jendresen and Kevin Waller are all on board to produce the project. Meanwhile, Jesper Ganslandt is in the directors chair for the project. With production still expected to get underway this Fall, it is likely that we will have to wait until late 2015, or even 2016 to see Mission: Blacklist finally hit the big screen. We will keep you posted.
