Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has revealed that, despite the slow start his club have had in the group stage of the Champions League, they will still qualify with ease. Roberto also took the time to give his personal run down of the teams in his group.
Mancini explained, "I am still convinced that we will qualify. We've only played two games and four remain. "Villarreal have lost their way, they're almost out. Napoli are a strong, well-organised team. Bayern Munich are like a steamroller at the moment, crushing everyone. But in Germany, when the score was 0-0, we had two penalty claims turned down."
Manchester City are next in action in the Champions League on October 17, when they welcome Spanish side Villarreal to the Etihad Stadium. One player who will not be involved in that match is troubled Carlos Tevez, who was recently told by owner Khaldoon al Mubarak that he can leave in the next transfer window.
