A lot of the time when we look at the beautiful and talented stars in Hollywood, we tend to see them as being more than human and forget that they were all once like the rest of us and went through similar things that we did in our younger years. It is not like they were just born and were instantly celebrities, many of them had to work very hard to get to where they are now.
Hollywood actress Rosario Dawson grew up in a big family and, while she is now regarded as one of the most beautiful women on the planet, it seems that things have not always been so easy for the star. Rosario has spoken about growing up, revealing that she even ended up going to her prom on her own.
Dawson told the September issue of Cosmopolitan for Latinas, "I was an awkward teenager. I went stag to my prom. I was a virgin until I was 20 years old! My mother was raising five kids on her own. I wasn't just going to sit back and be a horny teenager and continue some cycle of teenage pregnancy - I wanted more opportunities. I wanted to be the first person in my family to go to college."
As far as her acting is concerned, Rosario Dawson can currently be seen on the big screen, reprising her role as Gail, in the movie sequel Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, which is out now in both the US and the UK. Meanwhile, we will also see Rosario Dawson in the pilot episode of the Marvel series Daredevil, which will air on Netflix in 2015.
