Actress Rosario Dawson recently returned from the 2014 Cannes Film Festival where her film "The Captive" was unfortunately not received very well by some of the critics but her appearance during the festival was deemed outstanding as she was without question one of the fashion stars and the beautiful "Seven Pounds" star has continued to look sensational when out in public.
Entertainment insiders are very impressed by her public appearances since returning from Cannes as she seems unaffected by the criticism of the movie and in the process is looking like a leading lady.
She was photographed walking around a Venice Beach, LA neighbourhood wearing a short sleeveless blue dress with sunglasses and her hair styled to show off her shaved hair on one side hairstyle. She paired the look with flat lace free jazz shoes and a Bulgari bag that likely was picked up at the amFar Gala in Cannes where she stunned the crowd with her look in a a sophisticated blue dress with a low cut in the centre covered by mesh which was one of the best looks in France during the festival.
"The Captive" was unfortunately booed not because of her acting but because of the plot but she received praise for how she presented herself and it is very likely that the producers of her upcoming film "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" are loving the fact that she is attracting the attention of the media with her gorgeous fashion appearances in public.
Entertainment insiders loved the fact that she has not let the criticism of "The Captive" take away her smile or impact how she presents herself to the public. She does not look despondent or frustrated but instead looks excited as if she cannot wait for the opening of "Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" in August 2014.
Rosario Dawson while walking around Venice Beach, LA and with her appearance at the amFar Gala at Cannes looked like a beautiful actress who is strong enough to withstand any criticism or as a filmmaker might say, she is looking and acting like a true leading lady.
