British beauty Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has been working in the modelling industry for many years now, becoming one of the top names in the business and working with some of the biggest and best names that the modelling world has to offer. However, it seems that while Rosie is very grateful for what being a model has done for her life and her career, there is another part of the industry that she prefers.
Over the course of the past few years, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has decided to slow down on the amount of actual modelling she has been doing and has instead put more time into the designing side of things. Rosie has now admitted that she much prefers to be involved in the designing process over the actual modelling of products.
Huntington-Whiteley was chatting to Harper's Bazaar when she explained, "I've always wanted to work. I've always wanted to be independent. In life, you get these opportunities and then you have to work really hard, you have to show up, you have to be professional and you have to make something of the opportunity rather than squandering it. I've worked for lingerie brands since I was 17."
She added, "Modelling has been so good to me and I've been incredibly lucky, but now being on set is the least fulfilling part. What I really love is rolling my sleeves up, being in those design meetings, going to the business meetings, creating a brand from grass-roots, being able to have input and a say, and offering my advice and my opinion on things."
As well as being a big part of the modelling industry for many years, we have also seen Rosie Huntington-Whiteley trying her hand at the acting side of things, although she has admitted that it is more of a hobby and not something she is looking to pursue full-time.
