Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has revealed how she is in survival mode with her career, as she has nothing else to fall back on if things don’t work out. Rosie admitted that she tries to keep herself to herself and not attend any over the top parties, as she doesn’t want to jeopardise her career.
Huntington-Whiteley told the Sunday Telegraph's Stella magazine, “I'm a lot shyer than people realise, especially around people I don't know. It makes you really hold on to the special people. I've never felt comfortable in big social groups or going to crazy parties. I've always been able to see the difference between work and personal life. You won't see me at one of those parties.”
She added, “I've always been aware that if I f**k up my career I have nothing to fall back on. My parents don't have a ton of money, I left school at 16 - I don't have many other options. This is what I wanted to do, and you have to survive. This is survival now.”
As well as being one of the top models in the world, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is also building a career as a Hollywood actress. Rosie previously starred in the Michael Bay movie Transformers: Dark of the Moon and is next set to appear on the big screen, starring alongside Tom Hardy, Nicholas Hoult and Charlize Theron, in the movie Mad Max: Fury Road, which is released next year.
