With all of the new recruiting that has been going on, ahead of the start of production for the second season of the hit HBO series Game of Thrones, not a lot has been mentioned of the supporting cast. Obviously the lead characters will be returning, but what of those minor characters that help make the show what it is?
Well one star who is expected to return is Roxanne McKee, who portrayed Doreah in season one of Game of Thrones. Doreah is a slave, who is gifted to Daenerys Targaryen, played by Emilia Clarke, by her brother, to be her handmaid and companion. The two end up becoming quite close.
With Doreah acting as a, sort of right hand woman to Daenerys’, it is expected that she would be a dead cert to return for season two. However, nothing has yet been officially confirmed by either Roxanne McKee or the Game of Thrones producers. Game of Thrones season two is set to premiere in April.
