Game of Thrones actress Roxanne Mckee has revealed how she made her first steps in to the acting world, winning a role on the UK television show, Hollyoaks. Roxanne, who has always wanted to be an actress, admitted that she was set to go to drama school but then things suddenly changed.
McKee explained, “I think I just got lucky really. I'd applied to Drama school but my best friend Linsay told me about an open audition so i went along. I was in the right place at the right time. The audition process took about a week in all and at the end of it I had a dream come true and couldn't have been happier.”
Roxanne McKee became a well recognised face all around the world, thanks to her portrayal of Doreah in the hit HBO fantasy drama Game of Thrones. Roxanne will reprise her role as Doreah, when Game of Thrones season 2 premieres on HBO on April 15. However, it is believed that she will be killed off by the end of the season.
