British actor Rupert Grint rose to global superstardom in the role of Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter movies and he is now working at proving that he has a future in the acting industry. To do this, Rupert has decided to mix things up, by performing on the stage, as well as continuing with movie work and has compared doing the two.
Grint was chatting to the guys at the Huffington Post about his new movie CBGB, when he explained, "I don’t know, really. This is my first theater experience, and it’s very different. I wanted to just try it; it’s something I’ve always wanted to do."
He added, "Just the thought of it scares me. I’ve kind of put it off for a long time, and I just thought it was a good time to do it. And it’s a great play and a really great cast with a great director, and it was just, yeah, I’m enjoying it."
Rupert Grint can currently be seen on the big screen, starring with the likes of Alan Rickman, Johnny Galecki, Malin Akerman and Ashley Greene, in the movie CBGB, which is directed by Randall Miller and is out now in the US.
