It seems that former Knight Rider actor David Hasselhoff has been trying to get Australian actor Russell Crowe to star in the big screen adaptation of the hit 80s television show. David has been communicating with Russell via Twitter, where he made the play to get him involved in the Knight Rider movie.
Hasselhoff tweeted, "What's up? It's The Hoff." Crowe responded by praising The Hoff for visiting a children’s hospital while in Sydney. He replied, "How are you David? Saw that you visited the children's hospital while you were in Sydney. You are a good man, thanks 4 that (sic)." David Hasselhoff then suggested that the two of them should make a Knight Rider movie together.
He wrote, "Thanks mate hope to see you soon! Time for us to do Knight Rider the movie. Would love to hook up next time I'm in Sydney. Be there soon. Direct message me your email. Hope you're well, bud." There has been a lot of talk about a Knight Rider movie being made over the years but if David Hasselhoff could convince Russell Crowe to get on board with it, we could be seeing it sooner than we had hoped.
