It has been reported that A Beautiful Mind actor Russell Crowe is set to star in the latest reimagining of Bram Stoker's Dracula, which is titled Harker. Russell is currently involved in negotiations for the role and is expected to be officially signed up by the end of the week.
The Warner Bros. movie is set to be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra, while Leonardo DiCaprio will be producing the project. Harker centres around a tough detective in London, who is on the hunt for a creepy and mysterious figure, who is going around committing gruesome murders. Russell Crowe will be playing the lead role of the gritty London detective.
Meanwhile, Russell Crowe is also believed to be wanted by director Darren Aronofsky to appear in his latest project Noah. Darren is believed to want to team up Russell Crowe with The Grey actor Liam Neeson for the biblical movie. Noah is expected to begin production later this year, with the view to releasing the film in the summer of 2013. Russell Crowe is currently filming the latest Superman movie Man of Steel, where he will be playing Superman's real father, Jor-El.
