Young and talented actress Saoirse Ronan is one of the most promising stars in Hollywood at the moment, with many people tipping this talented star to land an Oscar nomination for her role in her new movie Brooklyn. With that said, Saoirse was recently presented with the New Hollywood Award, at the Hollywood Film Awards, where Ryan Gosling took the time to teach people how to pronounce her name.

Ryan Gosling was presenting Saoirse Ronan with the award, when he told the on looking crowd, "It's Ser-sha, like inertia!" which has actually led to many more people starting to get it right. After years of having to correct people on how to pronounce her name, Saoirse has now thanked Ryan for helping her with the issue.
Ronan explained, "Someone sent me a photo two weeks later of a cinema in Minnesota, and on the sign in the front it said, 'Brooklyn' and then underneath it said, 'Ser-sha, Like Inertia'. I couldn't believe it! They actually put it on the front of the cinema, so the power of Ryan Gosling is stronger than anything else. He's like Jesus or something, like a blond Canadian Jesus!"

With the Oscars just around the corner, many people are suggesting that we could well see Saoirse Ronan landing an Oscar nomination, for her fantastic performance in Brooklyn. However, if the actress does fail to land herself the Academy Award, we are sure that there will be plenty more opportunities, as she is one of the most talented young stars in Hollywood.
