Drive actor Ryan Gosling has revealed how he goes about picking the roles that he believes are perfect for him. Ryan claims that finding the right script is very much like hearing a song for the first time and feeling a need to dance to it. Ryan also admitted that he sometimes becomes frustrated with actors and actresses who complain about the downside of fame.
Gosling explained, "Picking roles is sort of like when a song comes on and you've got to dance. You don't really know why you have to dance, you've just got to do it. So, it's a hard thing to explain. That's always changing. I feel very lucky. Acting is like living many lives in one. You get more than just one. There's instant access to everything. As with all drugs there's a dark side, but when actors talk about the downside of fame I roll my eyes.
He added, "You say you want something, it appears. The people in movies become the people you know. Magical things happen." Ryan Gosling is currently in Thailand where he is filming for his latest movie Only God Forgives, which sees him once again team up with Drive director Nicolas Winding Refn. Only God Forgives is currently without a release date but it is expected that it will be released later this year.
