Ryan Gosling is currently promoting his new film ‘Gangster Squad’ and in an interview with Tribute CA, he talks about working reuniting with Emma Stone after their first outing in ‘Crazy Stupid Love’. He says,“I guess we thought, you know since we had such a great time on Crazy Stupid Love, this will be a blast, but we had to be serious in this movie, which was very hard for us. And you know, once you’ve bit a knucklehead in front of somebody, it’s kind of hard to pretend you’re Humphrey Bogart or somebody.”
Ryan also has spoke about his relationship with Emma in an interview with MTV News, saying, “Emma Stone, who I've worked with before, we get a little goofy around each other. So it was hard for us to be dramatic."
It was fun for Emma too, as she says, “I'm the luckiest girl in the world because Wooters is being played by Ryan. He's so fantastic at that kind of banter. It's so nice to see two people come alive together."
Gangster Squad co-stars Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, Josh Brolin, Sean Penn, Anthony Mackie, Giovanni Ribisi, and Robert Patrick. It releases worldwide this Friday, January 11th.
