Ryd Cook’s Thrown to feature at Cambridge Film Festival

Short movie maestro Ryd Cook has revealed that he will be featuring his latest offering, Thrown at this year’s Cambridge Film Festival. Ryd is one of the best short film makers in the business and his appearance at the Cambridge Film Festival can only boost its profile further.

Thrown is described as “A family bereavement leads to a favourite chair being assigned to the scrap heap, until a seemingly insignificant discovery leads to a change of heart.” Thrown is written by Dave Clark and stars Steven Carne and Ashley Cook.

The Cambridge Film Festival is the third longest running festival in the UK following the Edinburgh Film Festival and the London Film Festival. The 2011 Cambridge Film Festival is set to run from September 15th until September 25th. Be sure to do your best to catch Ryd Cook’s Thrown, as it is a flawless piece of short filmmaking.
