Former X Factor contestant and Xtra Factor co-host Olly Murs has admitted that he will have to quit his presenting role on the show, as he heads to the US to try and break into the American music market. Since then there has been plenty of talk about who will replace Olly on the show.
One name that keeps coming up time and time again, is last years X Factor guilty pleasure Rylan Clark, who appeared to be the favourite for the show. Rylan has been talking about the possibility of taking over from Olly admitting that he would love to take on the role, as it would be a dream come true.
However, Rylan has admitted that, while he would love to do it, the reports about him being the favourite to take over from Olly Murs are all rumours, as he has had no discussions about it so far. Yet he has stated that he is not aware that Olly has even officially left the show yet.
Rylan Clark almost didn't make it through is initial audition on The X Factor but has since gone on to become a huge star, finishing as runner-up on The X Factor, before then going on to be crowned the winner of Celebrity Big Brother.
