‘Admiral General Aladeen’ a Dictator from the Republic of Wadiya is the latest of controversial characters from the well know actor Sacha Baron Cohen, who over the years has given us the likes of Ali G, Borat and Bruno. And his Latest Film ‘The Dictator’ does not look to disappoint.

When Admiral General Aladeen ‘The anti-western tyrant from Wadiya’ takes a trip to the USA in an attempt to stop democracy ever coming over to his country by speaking to the United Nation, he never saw that it was all part of an attempt to have him assassinated. This leads to Admiral General Aladeen being imprisoned publicly and replaced by a double. Not all is lost for this tyrant dictator as he may find that good things can come out of bad situations.
Unlike his previous movies, Cohen has gone for a different style of film with the dictator, whereas with Borat and Bruno there was not so much a story line but slapstick, spur of the moment comedy. The Dictator offers a story which is kept inline through the entire movie and with Hollywood stars such as Ben Kingsley (Lucky Number Slevin) and Anna Faris (Scary Movie 4) playing parts; there is a much more Hollywood production feel to this movie.

A Sacha Baron Cohen Film would not be the same without controversial gags, over the line statements and just 90 minutes of pure cringe worthy moments. As all fans of Sacha Baron Cohen’s previous movies will tell you, if you are not the type to find crude, embarrassing and somewhat offensive jokes funny then The Dictator is not for you.
The Dictator is being released for public sale on the 24th of September so be sure to get your copy soon. Or fear the wrath of the great Admiral General Aladeen.
