Actress Salma Hayek went from a relative unknown to a household name around the world following that table dance scene in her underwear in the 1996 movie From Dusk Till Dawn. Since then, Salma has gone on to establish herself as one of the biggest and best actresses in Hollywood and is never short of movie role offers.
As for her personal life, Salma Hayek is married to Francois-Henri Pinault and the couple have a young daughter together and, while her acting career is still important to her, Salma says that he family comes first. In fact, Salma has revealed how she has even turned down work because her family are so important to her.
Hayek was chatting to New Beauty Magazine, when she explained, "My rule is that I won’t be away from Valentina for more than a week. And sometimes I won’t do a project because of that. It’s a new discipline. I have a child and a husband who always need me, and the one thing I can’t do is let myself relax and take time for myself – and I need to fix that."
As far as her acting career goes, Salma Hayek still has a lot of projects lined up for the next few years, with four movies in production and a further four projects in development. The four movies in production are Sausage Party, Everly, Love Like an Englishman and The Prophet, while the four projects in development are Septembers of Shiraz, Il racconto dei racconti and A Three Dog Life, while she is a producer on the TV series Wicked.
