Sam Claflin had his breakout role a few years ago in ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides’, and since then, he’s caught the eye of more than a few producers in the film industry. He was handpicked to play Prince Charming in the Rupert Sanders – directed ‘Snow White and the Huntsman’, and he beat out almost every eligible male in Hollywood between the ages of 20 and 30 for the role if Finnick Odair in ‘The Hunger Games: Catching Fire’.

After working relentlessly on the film for more than four months, the cast has all gotten a chance to relax and take a break after the filming wrapped two weeks ago. Although it’s now in post-production and the most difficult part for the actors is over, Sam admits that he’s still scared about watching the movie. He tells InStyle, “I'm hugely excited to see it, but nervous to be honest. We worked so hard and had so much fun.” He also discusses the difficulties of his role, adding, “People think I exaggerate when I say I literally ate chicken and asparagus every day, twice a day for three/four months.”
And what’s next for Claflin? Well, for now, vacation – “I recently bought a house, well a year ago, but it's a matter of making it my own. So I've just been spending some time with my fiance and back to reality. I'm living the dream!"

In addition to being favored to be one of the biggest breakout stars of 2013, Sam is now on the list for every major leading role in Young Hollywood. His name has popped up multiple times in connection to other YA franchises, and he’s rumored to be circling a huge studio franchise. It’s only a matter of time before those Fifty Shades of Grey producers come calling, or even better yet, the Star Wars producers. Sam would make a perfect fit for those franchises, especially as he’s not a huge name that would overshadow the film, but one that would still have the acting chops and physical presence to pull off the roles.
