Actor Sam Worthington has revealed that James Cameron is currently in the process of writing a bible of material for the two proposed Avatar sequels. Sam insists that it is in an attempt to get back into that world and back into the mindset of the characters.
Worthington explained, "I know he's nutting out like a bible at the minute. [It's] sort of like a precursor of Avatar to just get himself back into the world and the mindset and the characters. That's how he works, it's very detailed and very weighty. But the story arc is huge. It's going to be amazing. I've talked to him, he's told me what his plans for the story are and it's huge. But he's not going to start until he raises the bar for himself, and he's in no rush."
It has previously been confirmed by James Cameron that his Avatar trilogy will not pan out in the traditional way that a trilogy should. He also revealed that he will be shooting both of the Avatar sequels back to back so there is not such a long wait between instalments. It is expected that Avatar 2 will be out in 2014, with Avatar 3 coming a year later.
