Sam Worthington appeared in the record-breaking, James Cameron movie Avatar, which is currently edging ever closer to beginning shooting. Sam has now opened up about when shooting will begin on Avatar 2 and Avatar 3, as well as talking about a Wrath of the Titans sequel.
Worthington was talking to Collider, when they asked him when shooting on the Avatar sequels will begin, "Whatever Jim [Cameron] wants. I talk to Jim quite often. It’s up to him, when he wants to go. No one is going to tell him when to go," he replied.
Sam also spoke about a possible Wrath of the Titans sequel, "I don’t think so. I loved working with Ralph [Fiennes] and Liam [Neeson], especially. But, who knows. I’d love to work with those boys again, on something," he added.
Clash of the Titans made a huge $492m worldwide, with Wrath of the Titans making an impressive $300m, leading to speculation that another movie in the franchise could happen. Unfortunately, Sam Worthington seems to all but write off any sequel in the near future.
Avatar 2 is currently expected to hit the big screen in 2015, with Avatar 3 coming a year later.
