Hollywood legend Samuel L Jackson played Elijah Price in the M. Night Shyamalan movie Unbreakable back in 2000 and he has been talking about the potential sequel to the film. Samuel says that there were supposed to be three movies in the series but he doesn’t know why they were never made.
Jackson told The Huffington Post, “There were supposed to be three. I don't know. You'll have to ask the brilliant director who wrote it and didn't do the rest of them. I mean, he [Shyamalan] hasn't made a really good movie since then.” Samuel then went on to compare how M. Night Shyamalan goes about his movie making compared to the likes of Quentin Tarantino.
He added, “Yeah, there's that. And there's, you know, ‘I'm smarter than everybody coming to watch my movie.’ Quentin's not that. He's just, "I want you to love my movie. I want you to love it and enjoy it because this is [frick]ing cool.”
Samuel L Jackson is next set to appear on the big screen in the Quentin Tarantino movie Django Unchained, where he will share the screen with Jamie Foxx, Kerry Washington and Leonardo DiCaprio. Django Unchained will be released in the US on December 25 and then in the UK on January 18, 2013.
