Samuel L Jackson is set to reprise the role of Nick Fury in The Avengers, which he has played on a number of occasions as a cameo in some other Marvel superhero movies and he has admitted that he thoroughly enjoyed getting to be in the presences of such great characters. Samuel stated that he has a much bigger part in The Avengers than he has ever had before as Nick Fury.
Jackson explained, “We’re all really good friends. It’s just kind of funny to stand there in a room and look around and see everybody. Thor is standing there in his costume, Captain America, sometimes he’s dressed and sometimes he’s not. Scarlett is there as Black Widow, Robert Downey’s there with his Iron Man costume on when he’s just hanging around with us. But it’s just amazing to look around the room and see all these guys there and just kind of go ‘Ok, this is cool’.”
He added, “I’m actually doing more than I’ve ever done in any of the other films, so you don’t have to wait until the end of the movie to see me. I’m actually around the whole movie, so I do a lot more and I have action scenes and actually do things to people.” You can see Samuel L Jackson reprising his role as Nick Fury alongside the other Avengers when The Avengers is released on April 27 in the UK and May 4 in the US.
