Well while the 2014 FIFA World Cup continues to roll on, the events at Wimbledon came to an end at the weekend, with one of the most exciting finals that we have ever seen. There was a packed crowd at centre court, to see Roger Federer take on Novak Djokovic, with quite a few familiar faces in the crowd from the world of entertainment.

One such star who was at the Wimbledon final was Hollywood superstar Samuel L Jackson, with the actor sat next to the Beckham family, and Victoria Beckham in particular. Since then, a video has emerged of Samuel sitting next to Victoria and the couple seem very awkward and uncomfortable sat next to one another. However, Samuel has now responded to the video, insisting there was no awkwardness between them.
Jackson took to his official Twitter account to tell his fans and followers, "Lotta bull***t going round, I had a ball sitting next to @victoriabeckham at Wimbledon yesterday!" before then going on to add, "Truly lovely! STFU!"

Well that clears that up then. Samuel L Jackson and Victoria Beckham got on just fine at the Wimbledon final, there was no awkwardness and they are all good friends, and don't you dare say different, we certainly won't. Sorry Sam.
As far as that Wimbledon final went, it was a very exciting match indeed. Novak Djokovic was 2-1 up with match point, before handing Roger Federer the set, taking the match into a final set. Fortunately for Djokovic, he managed to come through the match victorious, eventually beating Federer 6-7 6-4 7-6 5-7 6-4 and being crowned the new Wimbledon champion.
