When it was announced that a movie was being made, which would star just Sandra Bullock and George Clooney and would be set in space, there were a lot of people who were unsure if it would actually work. Well, the movie is now out and it has been a huge success already.
Gravity opened in the US back on October 4 and has already made around $220m in America, while it has grossed over $425m worldwide. Sandra Bullock has now opened up about the movie, giving her views on why she feels it has been such a huge success.
Bullock told Digital Spy, "The effects are amazing, the visuals are amazing, they're groundbreaking. I think the reason it's struck such a wide range of ages is because of the emotion story. It's just a human story of adversity and it was brilliantly set in this action-packed, riveting, frightening landscape... you're broken open and forced to be a part of it whether you like it or not."
Gravity has already opened in a lot of countries but fans in the UK can catch Sandra Bullock, starring with George Clooney, in Gravity, when the movie opens on November 7. Check out the Gravity trailer below.
