Saoirse Ronan has the interest of entertainment fans for more than just her sensational acting in 2015 as it has been revealed that the film production company of the supremely talented actress, Slaney Productions made a profit of GBP 111,000 in 2014.

2015 has been a spectacular year for the Irish actress as she is receiving rave reviews from entertainment critics for her performance in the movie "Brooklyn" about a young girl who emigrates from Ireland in the early Fifties to live and work in New York. Her acting in the film has critics talking about her performance as one worthy of an Oscar nomination and as such fans are expecting to see her modelling glamorous red carpet outfits during the 2015-16 awards season.
Ironically while some people might expect her to focus purely on her acting the talented actress has shown through the success of her film company that she might have plans to be a producer of film projects similar to Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, two Hollywood stars who have used their own money to develop successful film production companies.

She disclosed in interviews that part of the reason she had not portrayed an Irish person in a film before "Brooklyn" was because the majority of the roles with Irish characters offered to her were either IRA or films from the 1800s based on farm life and these did not appeal to her. Her revelation suggests to some fans that she realized that the best roles may come from the actor having a major input in the project and what better way than to have the film be produced by your own production company.
