With the Twilight movie franchise coming ever nearer to its end, fans around the world are distraught by the fact that their favourite love triangle will no longer be on the big screen. However, there is a new love triangle on the horizon and it has been written by the Twilight author Stephenie Meyer.
Stephenie’s novel The Host is heading the same way as Twilight, as it is preparing for its movie adaptation release next year. There is a lot of expectation surrounding The Host, following the success of the Twilight movies and, while Twilight comes to an end, The Host is coming to life.
A brand new movie poster for The Host has been released and it shows the three characters who will be involved in the latest on-screen love triangle. The Host centres around a young girl whose body is taken over by an alien being, which becomes entangled in the girls love affair.
The Host stars Saoirse Ronan, Jake Abel and Max Irons as the three people involved in the love triangle. The movie has been directed by Andrew Niccol and also stars Diane Kruger, William Hurt and Frances Fisher. The Host is set to be released on March 29, 2013.
