Sometimes in life you can find that art can really and truly imitate life and, following some reports last week, it looked like that was what was going to happen for Hollywood actress Sarah Jessica Parker.
As most of you will be well aware, Sarah Jessica Parker played the role of Carrie in Sex and the City, where she was a writer who contributed to Vogue. Then, just last week, it was claimed that Sarah was being groomed to take over as the Vogue editor, when the current editor Anna Wintour retires.
However, these rumours have now been denied by the representatives for Sarah Jessica Parker, as well representative for Vogue. While it does seem like this would be a perfect fit, considering how close Sarah and Anna have become, it does seem that Parker is too busy with her career right now.
A supposed insider explained, "It would be a fun thing for her, but she already has so much on her plate it's not an option and she actually has never considered it before." Meanwhile, a representative for Vogue added, "Anna and Sarah Jessica have been friends for a long time and the idea of Sarah Jessica taking Anna's position at Vogue has never been discussed."
As for her movie career, Sarah Jessica Parker has two movies currently in development. The first will see her star in the film Mixtape, while the second will see Sarah as a producer on the movie A Fair Marriage.
