Fairly Legal actress Sarah Shahi has signed up to play a recurring role on the his CBS drama Person of Interest. It has been confirmed that Sarah will join the cast of Person of Interest, where she is set to play a smart and fearless, anti-terrorism operative named Shaw.
Sarah is used to playing strong characters on both the big screen and the small screen but, according to Person of Interest creator Jonathan Nolan, Shaw is the toughest women around, “If James Bond and [Terminator heroine] Sarah Connor had a kid, Shaw would kick its ass,” he said.
You will get to see Sarah Shahi, playing the character Shaw for the first time, when she debuts on Person of Interest on February 21, in an episode titled Relevance. Sarah will appear in Person of Interest in a multi-episode arc but could be set for a bigger role, should the show be picked up for a third season.
Sarah Shahi starred in the USA show Fairly Legal up until the series was axed back in November last year. She has also appeared in a number of episodes of the NBC show Chicago Fire and is also set to appear on the big screen in the movie Bullet to the Head.
Meanwhile, Person of Interest will continue to air on Thursday nights in the US, while it also airs in the UK on Channel 5.
