The career of Sarah Shahi has been a very impressive on over the years, with the actress moving from one hit television series to another, putting in some impressive performances along the way. We have seen Sarah star in shows such as The L Word, Life, and Fairly Legal, before then going on to land a role in the hit television series Person of Interest.
Sarah Shahi plays the role of Shameen Shaw in Person of Interest and she has been giving us some of her best performances to date over the course of the past couple of seasons. This has led to some impressive reviews for Sarah, with many tipping the actress to receive an Emmy nomination for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category.
The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards nominations were announced early this week and it was disappointing to learn that Sarah Shahi had just missed out. While the actress will no doubt be disappointed herself, at just missing out on an Emmy nomination, we are sure that she will still be very proud of the performances she has been giving on Person of Interest.
While Sarah Shahi has missed out on being nominated, the nominees for the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series at the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards are; Anna Gunn as Skyler White in Breaking Bad, Maggie Smith as Dowager Countess of Grantham/ Violet in Downton Abbey; Joanne Froggatt as Anna Bates in Downton Abbey; Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister in Game Of Thrones; Christina Hendricks as Joan Harris in Mad Men; Christine Baranski as Diane Lockhart in The Good Wife.
The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards will air on Monday, August 25 on NBC.
