While the television series Saving Hope has lost its audience in the US, with NBC deciding to cancel the show after its one and only season, it is still impressing in Canada, where it is now in its second season and has also been renewed for a third season. Saving Hope has just returned for the second half of season two and is still going strong.
Actress Erica Durance plays the role of Dr. Alex Reid in Saving Hope, which has an underlying supernatural tone to it. While talking about how she would cope if she was in Dr. Reid's shoes, Erica gave her views on the supernatural and whether or not she actually believed there was something else out there.
Durance explained, "I think it would give me pause, but I have a tendency to believe that there’s something out there already. I grew up always being taught about that there’s something else going on, and there’s something out there besides ourselves.”
As well as starring Erica Durance, the Saving Hope cast also includes Julia Taylor Ross, Kristopher Turner, Michael Shanks, Daniel Gillies and Benjamin Ayres. Saving Hope may well be cancelled in the US but Canadian fans of the television series can still catch the show on CTV. Saving Hope season two continues to air on CTV on Thursdays.
