Johansson explained, "I started out making films when I was about eight years old, and I worked continuously, very thankfully, ever since then. I was kind of a jazz hands sort of singing, dancing kid. And then I, you know, went through puberty and you know, became kind of introverted. And it worked for me, actually. So I stuck with that."

Scarlett claims that, while she became famous at a young age, she did actually have a relatively normal childhood, in terms of her schooling.
She added, "You know, I went - I actually had a fairly normal childhood as far as schooling went and being able to go out with friends. And I grew up in New York City, and that's a tribute with any semblance of groundedness to growing up here. I think it kept me fairly normal."
