It was recently announced that Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson was pregnant with her first child, with her fiancée Romain Dauric. The couple are clearly extremely happy and excited, with a huge year to look forward to, with the birth of the child to take place by the end of the year, as well as a huge wedding to plan.
However, while these two and their close friends and family, as well as many fans, celebrate the great news, there are others who have already expressed their concerns about the pregnancy. Scarlett Johansson plays the role of Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, already appearing as the character in Iron Man 2 and The Avengers, while she will reprise the role for Captain America: The Winter Soldier and The Avengers: Age of Ultron.
Production on The Avengers: Age of Ultron has now begun and it is expected that filming for the movie will begin later in the month, which means that there is a big chance that Scarlett Johansson's pregnancy will start to show while she is filming the role. This has many fans concerned about how this will affect the movie and the amount of involvement Scarlett has in the film.
There have been plenty of different suggestions about what Joss Whedon and co. could do to work around the pregnancy. Some have suggested delaying the filming until after the birth. Some have suggested camera trickery to disguise the pregnancy. Some have suggested using a body double. And some have suggested giving her a smaller role and introducing another new character in her place.
What do you think they should do?
