Hollywood actress Scarlett Johansson has swapped starring in big screen blockbusters, for a stint of stage acting on Broadway, playing Maggie in the production of Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Scarlett says that, while she is really enjoying the change, she is finding it very tiring.

Johansson explained, “The stamina of doing the three-hour shows has been a little bit draining. I feel like I’ve had the same cold for three months with this job. Never gonna shake it!”
She added, “It’s wonderful to be back on Broadway. I’m born and raised in New York and grew up just dreaming about some day treading the boards. To be able to have this opportunity in such a wonderful production, it’s just a dream come true for me. It’s lovely to be back.”

Scarlett continued, “I think the move just seemed like the right challenge for me. I knew that I wanted to do it. I didn’t know how I would do it, but I knew that I could do it... It just seemed like all the pieces fit into place.”
Scarlett Johansson is set to appear in the movie Don Jon’s Addiction, which is written, directed and stars Joseph Gordon-Levitt and is set to feature at the Sundance Film Festival later this month.
