Being a Hollywood movie star means that you get to travel the globe, taking in different cultures from all over the world and even getting to try different foods that you would otherwise never have the chance to try. While some Hollywood stars would rather stick to what they know, there are others who prefer to embrace the new culture and food.
One such actress, who has admitted that she likes to have a taste of the local delicacies from areas where she is filming, is actress Scarlett Johansson, who spent time in Scotland where she was filming her movie Under the Skin. Scarlett has admitted that, while she does not eat red meat, she still managed to try some haggis.
Johansson was chatting to the guys over at SFX magazine, when she explained to them, "'I don't eat red meat so I tried the vegetarian haggis. It tasted like stuffing. And Irn-Bru - that's got a kick!" Brave girl. For those of you unfamiliar with traditional haggis, it contains sheeps stomach, liver, lungs and heart. However, Scarlett went for the vegitarian option so she missed out on this.
As for the movie Under the Skin, fans can see Scarlett Johansson in the science fiction movie when it opens in the UK on March 14, before then hitting the big screen in the US on April 4. For now though, check out Scarlett Johansson and co. in the Under the Skin trailer below.
