Hollywood superstar Scarlett Johansson plays the role of Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and has already appeared in the role on the big screen on three occasions and is signed on to appear in more Marvel movies in the coming years, including the planned Marvel movie sequel Avengers: Age of Ultron, which will open next year.
There has already been plenty of talk about Avengers: Age of Ultron and Scarlett Johansson has now teased the fans of what they can expect from the sequel. Scarlett says things are complex and become even more complex from the addition of new superheroes, while also praising Joss Whedon for the way he integrates these new characters to the group.
Johansson told Huffington Post, "These characters’ relationships become even muckier. Nothing’s getting cleaned up and tied up in a big, red shiny bow in Avengers 2. It’s complex, and the universe is expanding even more. More characters are coming in, but that only feels like it enriches the story. Joss has made room in a very, very impressive way for those new characters to come in, to be introduced."
As well as seeing the return of Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chris Evans as Captain America, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Chris Hemsworth as Thor and Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Avengers: Age of Ultron will also introduce us to Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlett Witch and Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Quicksilver. Avengers: Age of Ultron will open on May 1, 2015 in both the US and the UK.
