Season five of Dexter was not without its critics but none the less, the show was commissioned for a sixth season. Now, with just over month until season six premieres, Scott Buck, the show’s producer, has taken the time to discuss what fans can expect from the show.
Scott explained, "We thought a clean start to this season would be to jump ahead a year, so he's not getting over Lumen, and he's not still in the throes of dealing with the Rita thing. We wanted to jump ahead a year and find that Dexter has gotten his groove back. He's gotten over Rita and Lumen."
Season six of Dexter is set to premiere on Showtime after the network picked up the show for the new season, from CBS. The sixth season is set to run for twelve episodes, with the first premiering on Sunday, October 2 and the season finale landing on Sunday January 8, 2012.
